Registered Massage Therapist
RMT, BA (Hons.) Soc., CPTN-CPT, CMTO
As a massage therapist, Mark has a solid knowledge base of human anatomy and physical health and wellbeing. His background and current status as a personal trainer has allowed him to study movement extensively, so he understands the importance of optimizing physical function.
He graduated with honors from the Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy in 2018 and is a member in good standing with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario (CMTO). His training has given him the tools and practice necessary to satisfy the needs of a diverse clientele.
Mark has worked with many active individuals in multiple sports massage settings including recreational, collegiate, and even Olympic athletes, where he gained a lot of experience with deep tissue massage. These individuals included swimmers, wrestlers, cyclists, runners, and more. In addition, he has found great satisfaction in his time treating hospital and hospice patients where common treatment goals included increasing relaxation and circulation, decreasing stiffness and musculoskeletal pain, and gently restoring range of motion.
Outside of Reactivate, he can be found exploring the outdoors in some way, shape or form. He is passionate about hiking, rock climbing, soccer, bike trails, and more. As an active individual, he has had to work through some injuries, so he can fully appreciate how frustrating and limiting these can be.
Mark enjoys using his time and skill set to help people live their lives to the fullest, whether that means helping them work through an injury or preventing one from happening in the future. He values being part of a multidisciplinary team that shares the same mindset.
