If you are unable to make your appointment time, we do require **24 hour notice** so we can offer the appointment time to somebody else who is waiting. If 24 hours notice is not provided, the practitioner reserves the right to charge a missed appointment fee of 50% of the original appointment cost.

We are a private clinic and do not bill insurance companies directly, including any benefits you may have through your workplace.
Payment is required at the time of your appointment. After your visit, you will receive a detailed receipt that you can submit to your insurance provider for reimbursement, if your plan allows.

We are a private clinic. Most of our services are not covered by OHIP.
The only service covered by OHIP at our clinic is an appointment with our Sport Medicine Physicians (Dr. Ryan Kirkby & Dr. Rich Trenholm) and this requires:
A valid referral from your primary care provider or nurse practitioner
A valid Ontario health card (or provincial equivalent)
Please note:
Without a referral, the appointment is not covered by OHIP. Patients without valid provincial health coverage: $375 for a 45-minute consultation
Some services (such as injections) provided by the physician may not be covered and will be discussed with you during your visit
Sport Medicine Physician Appointments
Consultations and follow-up visits are covered by OHIP only with a valid referral
Patients from Quebec are required to pay upfront and submit for reimbursement
Missed Appointment Fee
Appointments missed without at least 48 hours’ notice will be charged a $150 fee. This fee must be paid before additional appointments can be scheduled.
